PILOT HANDBOOK

Your first five skills

This trainer uses a Mode 2 stick layout inspired by Mavic controls. Its speed, battery, wind, and return-home behavior are simplified for practice.

  1. Take off: press Space or Take off. Automatic takeoff rises to 2 m.
  2. Hover: use W / S to reach 3–5 m. Release the controls and hold for 5 seconds.
  3. Turn: hold A or D for a complete rotation. The nose determines forward.
  4. Navigate: use the arrows to reach each orange beacon at 3–7 m altitude. The map shows the current target.
  5. Land: return to the H pad, then descend with S or press Land. Keep horizontal speed below 1.2 m/s and descent below 1 m/s.

Shortcuts: Space = takeoff / land, P = pause, R = reset, C = camera. Drag either virtual stick on touchscreens. Lessons save on this device when browser storage is available.

GPS hold brakes the aircraft when you release the sticks. Light wind adds gentle drift. Return home follows a direct path at a minimum 8 m altitude in this open training field.
